Young Woman Leader Excellence Award

The “Young Woman Leader Excellence Award” will celebrate the outstanding leadership achievements demonstrated by young female leaders that are reflected by distinct innovations and initiatives brought in by them in the development of gender equality that promotes the advancement of women’s positions.

The award recognizes young woman leader who aspires to be a potential future leader. She understands that this role must drive both business results and contribute to strengthening future opportunities for female leaders. She boldly and courageously advocates for female talent and leads fearlessly with grace.

The Eligibility criteria to submit a nomination for an award are

  • Is recognized as a business leader within the company or had media coverage.
  • Significantly achieved professional accomplishments stepping up year by year.
  • Has successful track to robust career by participating in development programs and initiatives.
  • The nominee should have Professional creativity and innovation and contribute with unique ideas or inputs in her business or chosen profession.
  • Advocated for young female talent by participating in diversity or inclusion-related activities.
  • Demonstrated ethical business behavior to support women's empowerment.
  • Holds an important position to drive change in supporting women.
  • Has been involved in initiatives that help women's advancement or development in the workplace.
  • Engaged in external community programs that supports the next generation of female leaders.
  • Actively participates in activities that empower women in her community.
  • Demonstrates excellence in creativity and initiatives in her business or profession.
  • Provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in her community.
  • Serves as a role model for young women personally and professionally in the Triangle.
  • Committed to be a social innovator and community connector with her visionary leadership.
  • Is recognized as an educator, mentor and leader bringing people and communities together
  • Creats spaces and opportunities for Indigenous youth and women to thrive.
  • Is recognized as a skilled and effective human rights advocate for women.
  • Acts as a catalyst for positive impact locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Demonstrates powerful example for the female entrepreneurs shattering tech industry barrier.
  • Is revolutionizing self-service finance and committed to others as a mentor.
