Winners of the 19th Middle East eGov and eServices Awards Felicitated in a Grand Ceremony

Award ceremony held at the Ritz Carlton in association with Datamatix Silver Jubilee Celebrations

The Middle East Excellence Awards Institute, today, felicitated the proud winners of the 19th Middle East eGov and eServices Excellence Award. The award ceremony held in conjunction with the 20th GCC eGovernment and eServices Conference also conjoins the celebration of 25 years of Datamatix in the region as a knowledge and events management service provider. The award ceremony, this year, was of special significance and was graced by some of the most imminent personalities in the region and across the world.

Held at the Ritz Carlton, DIFC in Dubai, the award ceremony in its 19th year, touched yet another benchmark and milestone in rewarding and recognizing outstanding contributions and achievements of the Middle East government and business organizations in transforming to smartGovernment and introducing applications and services that marks the name of the region on the map of global technical competitiveness.

Mr. Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director of the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute extended a warm welcome to all the VIPs, dignitaries and participants gathered from across the world to the awards noon and expressed his overwhelming happiness and pride for completing 25 successful years in the Middle East as a knowledge service provider. He elaborated on the theme of the 19th Middle East eGovernment and eServices Excellence Award and stressed on the categories that were being considered for the awards. He briefed the audience on the vision of the smartGovernment and emphasized on the efforts of the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute in catering to the needs of the region by recognizing the outstanding contributions and contributors.

H.E Dr. Eng Ali Mohammad Al-Khouri, Director General of the Emirates Identity Authority graced the occasion as the chief guest of the ceremony and presented the award ceremony keynote. He pinpointed the key pillars in smartGovernment foundation and emphasized on the 6 elements of circle of attention that involved various key areas like the internet penetration, eGov maturity, mGovernment maturity, huge investments and citizen empowerment, cloud computing solutions, support functions and so on….
