H.E DR RAJA AL GURG WINS WOMAN PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR-2003

H.E Dr Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson and Managing Director of Al Gurg Group (ESAG), has been awarded the Woman Personality of the Year, the award was presented by H.E Laura Liswood, Secretary General, Council of Women World Leaders and H.E. Dr. AlKhazraji the former Deputy Minister of Labor in the UAE and the Director General of the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (Tanmia), in a special ceremony for the Middle East Women Leaders Awards which coincided with the International Women’s Day.

PHAN THI KIM PHUC WINS WOMAN PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR

Phan THI Kim Phúc OOnt (Vietnamese Pronunciation, born April 1963, referred to informally as the Girl In The Picture and the Napalm Girl, is a South Vietnamese-Born Canadian woman best known as the nine-year-old child depicted in the Pulitzer Prize winning photograph, titled "The Terror of War", taken at Trng Bàng during the Vietnam War on June 8, 1972. The image, taken for the Associated Press by a 21-year-old Vietnamese-American photographer named Nick Ut, shows her at nine years of age running naked on a road after being severely burned on her back by a South Vietnamese napalm attack.
