Judging Procedure

The Middle East Excellence Awards Institute honors and identifies the achievements of government organizations, businesses and leaders that have brought changes and contribute to the building of modern standards of excellence in regional and global leadership, in developing the future of the region, according to the standards of global competitiveness.

The Institute follows a comprehensive set of rules and procedures that facilitates the judging panel and the judging procedure in the evaluation and selection of the Award winners. The procedures are impartial, transparent, independent, and neutral and strive to achieve the best possible results.

The Judging Panel

• The Panel commences its comprehensive evaluation, research, and due-diligence process approximately three months prior to the official announcement of the Award winners.
• The Panel meticulously reviews, researches, and examines all nomination documents and supporting materials submitted for evaluation.
• Where necessary, the Panel may conduct interviews, research, reference checks, and field assessments to verify and validate the information, achievements, supporting evidence, and data provided by the nominees.
• The judging and evaluation process is governed by the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring integrity, independence, impartiality, confidentiality, and fairness throughout the evaluation of all nominations.
• The Panel consists of distinguished corporate and institutional leaders, senior professionals, and industry experts selected on the basis of their competence, experience, integrity, independence, and impartiality.
• Members of the Judging Panel cannot nominate themselves or their institutions for the Awards.
• If a member of the Judging Panel wishes to nominate themselves or their institution for the Awards, they are required to resign from the Panel before submitting the nomination.
• The identities and details of the Judging Panel members are kept confidential to protect the independence, integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality of the evaluation process.
• All nomination documents, supporting information, assessments, deliberations, scores, and evaluation results are treated as strictly confidential.
• Members of the Judging Panel are prohibited from disclosing their participation, confidential deliberations, evaluation information, or Award results prior to the official announcement.
• The Judging Panel independently determines the final Award recipients based on the established evaluation criteria and verification process.
• Only the authorized Panel has the authority to approve and officially declare the final Award results.
• The decisions of the Judging Panel are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or reconsideration.
• The entire judging process is conducted in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism, procedural integrity, confidentiality, ethical governance, and international best practices.
