Sheikha Amina bint Al Tayer Wins Woman Personality of the Year-2007

Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Women's Association, has been awarded the Woman Personality of the Year.

The award was presented to H.E. H.E Dr Raja Al Gurg Wins Woman Personality of the Year-2003

H.E Dr Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson and Managing Director of Al Gurg Group (ESAG), has been awarded the Woman Personality of the Year, the award was presented by H.E Laura Liswood, Secretary General, Council of Women World Leaders and H.E. Dr. AlKhazraji the former Deputy Minister of Labor in the UAE and the Director General of the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (Tanmia), in a special ceremony for the Middle East Women Leaders Awards which coincided with the International Women’s Day.

The awards are essentially an endorsement of the great support of H.E Dr Raja Al Gurg, towards the women leaders and businesswomen empowerment and women leadership development over the years.

Phan Thị Kim Phúc OOnt (Vietnamese Pronunciation, born April 1963, referred to informally as the Girl In The Picture and the Napalm Girl, is a South Vietnamese-Born Canadian woman best known as the nine-year-old child depicted in the Pulitzer Prize winning photograph, titled "The Terror of War", taken at Trảng Bàng during the Vietnam War on June 8, 1972. The image, taken for the Associated Press by a 21-year-old Vietnamese-American photographer named Nick Ut, shows her at nine years of age running naked on a road after being severely burned on her back by a South Vietnamese napalm attack.
